Once you've added a store to PriceYak, it's time to add some listings! To begin, select "Create Listings" from the menu at the top of the page and consider which option below works best for your store setup:
*When Listing from Amazon to eBay:
- Add each ASIN or Product URL as a new line.
B00005N5PF B00005N5PF http://www.amazon.com/Hasbro-00009-97-Monopoly/dp/B00005N5PF
Example of an ASIN:
The ASIN for Hasbro's "Monopoly" game is B00005N5PF.
Example of an Amazon URL:
Amazon uses ISBN's as the ASIN number in the case of books.
*When listing from WalMart:
Walmart uses ID numbers pulled directly from the item's link.
Example of an ID number:
The ID number for the Huffy Nel Lusso Cruiser is 49058113
Example of Walmart URL:
*When listing from Amazon to Amazon:
Use a new line for each product.
On each line, you have to tell PriceYak which Amazon ASIN to list your item under, as well as the product ID of the source, separated by a comma.
When trying to list from Amazon to Amazon, the Source ID will also be an ASIN (maybe even the same ASIN). So for example, a correct listing request would look like this:
ASIN, SourceID (the source id will also be an ASIN, and could also be the same ASIN. For example:
*When listing from Costco:
Use a new line for each product.
You can list items from Costco by specifying the variant in the listing request. Using this item as an example (https://www.costco.com/lifetime-double-slide-deluxe-playset-do-it-yourself.product.100000042.html)
The Red variant would be listed as 100000042-681363, and 100000042-681350 for the Green variant) - as 100000042 is the item number on Costco, but 681363 (for the Red) and 681350 (for the Green) are this item’s specific variant IDs (listed on the Costco page as “Item” right under the title of the item).
Any items that you want to list from Costco with variants should be done so in this format: any items from Costco with variants in the format:
“Productid-variantid” or “productid_variantid”
100000042-681363 (red variant) or 100000042_681363 (if other format doesn’t work - same formats to try using for the Green variant too:
100000042-681350 or 100000042_681350
*When Listing from Sears:
You will need to use YakPal, our Chrome Extension, to obtain the correct Product ID's.
Can I list variations?
Absolutely! Using YakPal is essential in making sure your variations are correctly listed without having to sort through mountains of data yourself.
Do you have a tool to make finding Product ID's and Variant ID's easier?
Yes, YakPal is hands down the easiest way to make sure all source information is correctly synced to your store even with variations.
Please note: YakPal does not currently support B&H Photo Video or Best Buy.
What is the difference between "List" and "Review and List"?
After you've added the necessary product ID's to the listing creator, click "List" to have PriceYak list these items directly to your store if possible. "Review and List" will give you an opportunity to review the listing and change some details before publishing.
If you encounter warnings on your listings (duplicate listing errors for example) you can retry those failed listings with "Review and List" to ignore the warning and list the item anyway.
Retrying failed listings
- Go to Create Listings > Listing Requests
- Find the small dropdown menu labeled "All Batches" and select a batch
- Click "Retry Failed Listings" and PriceYak will submit a new batch!
Additional Title Keywords
You can add extra words like "Brand New!" or "Free Shipping" at the end of the titles of all of your listings. You have roughly 80 characters to work with in eBay listing titles. If the original title is too long to fit your extra keywords, PriceYak will cut the end of the original title off as cleanly as it can to make room for your keywords.
To add title keywords, click on your store name in the top left corner of PriceYak, and then on 'Store Settings.' Scroll down on the next page, find the 'Listing Settings' section, then click 'General.'
