When you create a PriceYak account, and list your first item, PriceYak automatically creates three "business policy profiles" on your eBay account:
- PRICEYAK_PAYMENT_PROFILE - Contains all your listing payment settings, such as the PayPal address to which you would like your customers to send payment.
- PRICEYAK_RETURN_PROFILE - Contains your return policy settings.
- PRICEYAK_SHIPPING_PROFILE - Contains your shipping policy settings, e.g. whether to allow the eBay Global Shipping program.
All listings that you create through PriceYak are tied to these business policy profiles. These three profiles collectively manage almost all settings in your PriceYak listings besides the description, title, and images.
If you would like to change any of these settings, you can do so on the Business Policies Page on eBay.com (see handy tip below if you're in another locale). If that link doesn't work, you should also be able to opt-in here, or try here if you are using Seller Hub. Changes take effect immediately on all existing and future PriceYak eBay listings.
Here's a video that shows you how to set these up (please note the profile names here are correct, the ones in the video are OLD): http://youtu.be/_-_RLs_0W8o

WARNING:
If you are running into issues setting up business policies, we can help you sort those problems out. Do not opt out. Repeat: once you've opted-in to eBay's business policies, do not opt back out. This can cause eBay to block your ability to opt back in, and then parts of PriceYak may not work the way they are supposed to. You'll then have to contact eBay directly to beg them to let you back into business policies, and prospects for success in this endeavor has been bleak.
If PriceYak was unable to automatically create your business policies, and eBay is not allowing you to create new policies, it is because eBay does not allow multiple business policies with the exact same settings. In this case, we recommend you choosing the existing business policy that you want PriceYak to use, and renaming the title according to the titles listed above.
Are you getting this error: "eBay Error [21919177] : You can't use immediate payment for items specified as Local Pickup Only. (Because you've specified Local Pickup Only for this item, you can`t require immediate payment.). Messages from eBay: {}"?
eBay Error [21919177] : You can't use immediate payment for items specified as Local Pickup Only. (Because you've specified Local Pickup Only for this item, you can`t require immediate payment.). Messages from eBay: {}
If so, we apologize on behalf of eBay for this terribly worded and confusing error. What this actually means is that you do not have any domestic shipping options configured in your shipping policy profile. You must configure at least one domestic shipping option in your business policy profile.
See the "-" under Services in the Domestic shipping section? Es no bueno. You must choose one of the options from that menu (there are some pretty generic ones you can choose which will preserve your options when choosing how to ship your items).
