Amazon account locks are becoming more and more prevalent for dropshipping. Non-Prime ordering is a pathway to keep orders flowing. Our sellers should follow these setup steps to avoid disruptions in fulfillment.
PriceYak customer:
- This assumes you are already set up for typical Prime ZMA. If not, please do that first.
- Navigate to AutoOrdering Settings
- Enable the checkbox labeled “Allow larger orders to use non-Prime ZMA accounts?”
- Set the threshold of order size that you want to use non-Prime.
- Currently we suggest “0” to allow all orders to use non-Prime ZMA accounts.
- You might also choose “25” to ensure free shipping on non-Prime orders.
- Smaller orders will then go to Prime ZMA accounts, but are likely to fail with “zma_temporarily_overloaded” due to low capacity.
- Set the non-Prime discount. Currently, we suggest “-1.5” which means you will pay 1.5% above face value for orders.
- You can set a more negative number to get higher priority access to accounts, or a number closer to 0 to get lower priority but cheaper access.
- Values under 1.5% may result in “zma_temporarily_overloaded” errors
- Click Save.
- Navigate to your Amazon US Source Settings.
- Change shipping method from “free” to “cheapest”. This is needed because non-Prime accounts must pay $5.99 shipping on orders under $25.
- Click Save.
When you are done, the settings should look like this:
Please note: to enable Non-Prime ZMA, you must apply to each individual store. Even with these steps, orders may still fail. We are working diligently to expand our capacity.
Tips and Tricks for Ordering:
- Addax_queue_timeout- 24 hours for PY users for best results, but beware orders can sit in the queue for UP TO this long.
- ZMA orders go into a queue until a fulfillment account that meets the requirements of the order is available. If an order is queued for too long without an account becoming available, the order will fail with a `zma_temporarily_overloaded` error.
- ZMA_priority_bid (in cents) - set as high as you are willing to pay for the best results.
- We offer a bid system where you can apply an additional fee on ZMA orders. Priority is given to orders with higher bids. As demands for our service have been especially high among orders under $40, successfully placing orders at peak times may require paying above the face value.
Zinc API customer:

- "zma_prime_optout": true - enable non-prime ordering
- "zma_discount": -1.5 - offer 1.5% above face value
- "shipping_method": "cheapest" - allow non-free shipping
Zinc API Tips and Tricks for ordering:
- addax_queue_timeout - in seconds for API users 86400 or for best results, but beware orders can sit in the queue for UP TO this long.
